Keurig's most basic office model, the UL Commercial listed B145 has an underwhelming 48 oz reservoir and max 10 oz brew size, but the Drain Brewer function is handy and its sturdy build makes it great for heavy use.

Keurig B145 OfficePRO Overview

Intended for office use, the UL Commercial listed B145 doesn't have a ton of additional features, like Strength Control or Temp Control.

Instead, it has a different take on functionality, leveraging a brew size selector knob.

It also has a convenient Drain Brewer function, but it isn't compatible with the reusable My K-Cup.

Intended for use in small offices (Keurig arbitrarily says less than 15 people), the 48 oz water reservoir will get the job done but will need to be refilled frequently.

Like all B series Keurig brewers, the B145 is the predecessor to the K series version, the K145, and has since been discontinued.

Pros
  • UL Commercial listed
  • No pod-scanning technology so brews both licensed and unlicensed K-Cup pods
  • Drain Brewer function is awesome and makes cleaning the internal tank easy
  • Brew size knob is sturdy and easy to use
  • Comes with K-Cup variety pack
Cons
  • Discontinued model
  • Not compatible with reusable My K-Cup
  • 48 oz water reservoir is relatively small (average at best)
  • Max 10 oz brew size
  • No Strength Control or Temp Control

Is the Keurig B145 OfficePRO for you?

Are Keurig B145 OfficePRO for you?

An uncomplicated, UL Commercial listed brewer, the B145 is great for small office environments if you want to offer K-Cup convenience without breaking the bank on a big-time commercial model.

As a discontinued model that's hard to find, you'll want to get the identical K145 instead.

If you're looking for a commercial brewer with a larger reservoir, we wouldn't blame you. The B145/K145s 48 oz tank is a little underwhelming.

Instead, check out the K1500. It's Keurig's newest base commercial model that offers a ton of upgrades over the B145/K145:

  • Max 12 oz brew size
  • Massive 96 oz reservoir
  • Compatible with direct water line plumbing (no refilling!)
  • Strength Control for stronger cups (great with the 12 oz brew setting)

Just about the only thing the K1500 doesn't have, which you'll find in the B145/K145, is the Drain Brewer function.

Keurig K-Supreme Plus SMART

Keurig K-Supreme Plus SMART
Overall Rating: 92
Keurig's best brewer, the K-Supreme Plus SMART builds on the K-Supreme Plus with more Temp/Strength settings, a larger digital display, and BrewID to recognize your K-Cup and recommend brew settings for a best-in-class cup.

Keurig K-Mini Plus

Keurig K-Mini Plus
Overall Rating: 86
Keurig's slimmest brewer, the K-Mini Plus is just like the K-Mini (4.5" wide and refill before each use) but adds several worthy upgrades. Most notably, a Strength Control setting and the 12 oz reservoir is removable.

Keurig K500

Keurig K500
Overall Rating: 88
The crown jewel of the Keurig 2.0 pod-scanning system, feature-rich K500 series brewers offer 11 brew sizes (up to 30 oz) and massive 80 oz reservoir. Now discontinued, we recommend the Keurig K-Duo Plus instead.

I'm Bryan but most people know me as The Coffee Maven. I grew up outside Boston, Massachusetts and received my Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Providence College. My first introduction to coffee was during my college days, when I used it as a source of caffeine to fuel late-night study sessions, but soon I became obsessed with the chemistry of coffee. How did changes to water temperature or contact time affect its taste? Why do beans from Africa taste fruity while beans from Indonesia taste spicy? I launched The Coffee Maven in February 2017 to explore these questions and help others brew their perfect cup. Welcome to my site, and thanks for reading!
